At The Bridge Short Stay School we make a commitment to trying to encourage all students to adopt a healthy lifestyle. We aim to instill in all students an lifestyle that is sustainable and conducive to good physical, mental, social and emotional health. This page will provide information about the various way in which we approach this.

Fruit of the Week

Each week, a different group takes responsibility for selecting 'Fruit of the Week'. All students throughout the school are encouraged to try that fruit during the week in order to experience a broader range of nutritious tastes. Within Food Technology lessons students are encouraged to investigate ways of incorporating that fruit into recipes and develop their ability to create healthy dishes.
